Before you begin, here is a convenience link that you can use that will produce a report of your complete browser settings and other information about your computer. You will find this report very useful when performing the steps below to properly configure your browser to view this site.

Pay particular attention to the settings for Cookies, Pop-ups, Firewalls, and SSL restrictions.

This website is best viewed with Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 6 (IE6). If you are using another browser (i.e. Netscape, Mozilla, etc), you may not be able to see (or use) this website as it was intended. If you need to install Microsoft Internet Explorer there is an icon on the toolbar of the website that will take you to the Internet Explorer free download page at Microsoft.

Once you have installed the IE6 browser and have used your dialup (or cable) connection to gain access to the Internet, start the browser and go to URL address for this site. If you are prompted to log in, enter your User Name and Password (or pin number). Remember that passwords are always CASE SENSITIVE so make sure that your CAPS LOCK key is turned off. In case you forget your password, click on the "FORGOT PASSWORD" button and it will be emailed to you.

You will need to "accept cookies" and "allow pop-ups" on this website. Cookies are required to allow us to identify you and grant you access privileges to various pages. These cookies remain active for a period of 20-30 minutes provided that there is no activity in the browser window. They are stored on your local machine until you logout or close your browser. If you have a slow dial up connection, or you have a slow machine, or an older version of the operating system, these cookies may not have had time to be written before they are accessed for use by the application.

To control how cookies are handled, go to the TOOLS menu of IE6 and choose INTERNET OPTIONS. Look for the PRIVACY TAB and select it. Personally, we suggest that you use the "Medium" setting which allows cookies to be written to your computer under certain conditions. If you have a setting any higher than this, it is probably causing this problem. The "Low" setting ALLOWS ALL COOKIES to be written and the "High" setting BLOCKS ALL COOKIES. You might always want to check your "Advanced Privacy Settings" and make sure that "Override Automatic Cookie Handling" is NOT CHECKED.

Another effective measure is to OVERRIDE ALL cookie handling for a particular website. You do this by naming this site (URL) as a trusted source, so you don’t have to worry about security settings or privacy settings. To do this, while you are still on the PRIVACY TAB (as mentioned above), click on the EDIT button at the bottom of the page. It will say something to the effect of … "To override cookie handling for individual websites, click the EDIT button." When you click on EDIT (or SITES), you will see a space to type in a website address. Type in the URL address for this site. Click the "ALLOW" button to the right. You will see the address you just typed, moved into the Managed Web Site area right below. This confirms your action. Now just click OK at the bottom of this page.

If you subscribe to a service such as AOL, this service probably uses a proprietary browser and you will need to contact them regarding their security level settings. In any case, we still recommend that you use Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE6) once you've dialed up your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Please disable any Pop-Up Blockers while you are on the web site. We use Pop-Ups to display your documents.

We recommend that you clear your temporary Internet cache files periodically. To do this, start your browser and look for the browser menu bar at the top. Click on TOOLS, click on INTERNET OPTIONS. Click DELETE FILES and a small pop-up box will appear. It's important to check the small box to DELETE ALL OFFLINE CONTENT that is stored in the temporary cache on your local machine. Press OK to do this. You can also click on DELETE COOKIES to clear all cookies in the cache. There's one more step … press the SETTINGS button and ensure that you are AUTOMACALLY checking for newer versions of stored pages. Press OK and OK once more and your done. FYI: This process is a good habit to do occasionally to keep your computer running efficiently.

Finally, we use sometimes use JavaScript to validate forms and to display our menus. You will need to have JavaScript enabled. Go to TOOLS / INTERNET OPTIONS / ADVANCED TAB and scroll down to where you see the JavaScript or Java (Sun) options and ensure that the box is checked.

We've designed this website so you can print all pages and reports without overlapping to the next printed page provided to set your brower margins to at least .375 inches, left and right. To change these setings from the original default values, go to FILE / PAGE SETUP and look for "Margins (inches)" and changes the values for "Top, Bottom, Left and Right" to .25 inches for the maximum coverage allowed by your printer. Press "OK" when you've finished doing this. We think you'll find these settings preferable for printing pages from any website.

OH, and one more thing, it's important nowadays that you stay current with technology. You should frequently perform updates to the operating system and other application software. Look for the "Windows Update" link when you press the start button on the task bar in the lower left of you screen. Everything is pretty much automatic from there on.
